Screen Companies

Screen Companies is the screener. It filters companies using SEC data.

Use a Screen

1. Open Screen Companies from the home page.
2. Choose a screen from Preset Screens.
3. Select a field under Add a Filter.
4. Enter the limits for that field.
5. Choose the fields in Columns.
6. Choose the order in Sort By.
7. Select Copy Link to keep the screen settings.

The controls support these steps. Copy Link preserves filters, columns, and sort.

For a percentage field, 25 means 25%. Dollar fields use millions unless you enter a suffix such as B for billions.

Understand the Results

The default view uses main listings. It excludes companies with no value for a filtered field. The filter panel has controls to change both choices.

The screener shows two dates: the date of the newest SEC data it includes, and the date it was built.

Limits

Results use 50 rows per page. Downloads include at most 1,000 matching rows and contain SEC data only. Downloads are unavailable on phones. Prices, market values, price multiples, yields, and returns are outside this screener.
